The group is run by volunteers and offers children a chance for free play with other children of similar age. For parents and carers we provide a chance to meet up with other like-minded adults and have a chat. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
We charge £1.50 per family per session to cover the room hire and refreshments. During each session the children are able to play and have the opportunity to take part in either an art and craft or cooking activity. The babies have their own quieter area with a baby gym and toys. We then have a snack time with toast, fruit and juice for the children, and tea or coffee for the adults. After tidying up we gather together for a few songs and rhymes before going home.
Everyone who cares for young children is welcome at the group. There is no need to book just turn up between 10.00am and 11.45am on a Wednesday and we will make you and your child feel welcome.
